I'm really enjoying this show. I know it's not a completely accurate account of Catherine the Great of Russia but I'm glued to it - the dark humour is great: the comic ghastliness of emperor Peter; the cruel insanity of aunt Elizabeth; the nastiness of the ladies of the Court; the suspense of Catherine's plotting. I think it's a show well worth watching.
