I was not Impressed by this film,I've read all the Alex cross books.
Maria was never actually alive in the books, you don't find out why she was Murdered or by who until later in the series and her murder had nothing too do with Cross it was too do with something she witnessed due to her work, not because of crosses case.
Sampson isn't even in it who is black not White and Cross best friend from Child hood and close to Crosses whole family, they changed it too some White bloke by a different name which us ridiculous why do that.
Tyler Perry who plays Cross is very disappointing as Cross,Cross us described as black over 6foot and very built with muscles and you get the impression he's good looking,Sorry Tyler Perry may be tall and big built but his portrale of Cross is not really close to the Character in the books.
The Script is bad, which makes me unsure whether the acting is due to that or just hit and miss acting.
In Kiss the Girls Morgan Freeman may not fit Cross in build and what you expect in the looks but his portrayal of the character is far closer to Cross than what Tyler Perry is.
Very disappointing why can't they just make a film that portrays the books with Some one who fits what Cross is portrayed at and actually have the Characters such as Sampson portrayed as the books do.
Patterson Cross series is one of the best and best known series of books of this Genre and are well known and this film just dosent portray it.
