Such an amazing show!
Isa is my favorite character because to me, she is the most relatable. How many of us struggle time and time again to navigate through life and find our way? Something I wished was displayed more, however, is Isa taking a firmer stance in communicating her boundaries and what she wants, as opposed to bottling them in followed by a series of lash-outs.
I did not like Molly at all because of her envious, shady, gossipy and hypercritical nature. Throughout each episode, it seems like she's always trying to sabotage a relationship with someone by picking at their flaws; while failing to acknowledge her own flaws and toxicity. She is someone who dislikes seeing someone doing better than them, and as a result crushes everything in her path. This stems from deep insecurities within her self. I wished her therapist touched more on this.
I also disliked Isa's ex boyfriend, Lawrence because he plays victim a lot. He rarely actually takes accountability for how he's damaged his relationship with Isa, and does not take her feelings into consideration. He instead blames her for her infidelity (although not justified), and holds it over her head while also performing selfish acts himself. I do not think he was a good partner to Isa for this reason.
Steph was another character whom I liked because of her positivity and grace throughout the entire show, despite the personal hardships she was going though. Her optimism and kindness is often overlooked by the others.
Daniel was slightly toxic, but he was kind, warm, and the most passionate about Isa. I think that they should have had a mature conversation about their feelings towards one another instead of playing mind games.
Overall, I did enjoy watching this, and each episode had me in suspense. I am glad that Molly was able to have a wedding, but I wished to see a bit more character development on her end, and the same with Lawrence.
