It’s upsetting because had it been done right, it could’ve really been something. But that would’ve meant starting with a completely new screenplay and script. I would’ve changed everything about this. I don’t know why Hollywood wants us to be so stupid. It’s like there can never be any true sadness or frustration without the comedic relief in 2 seconds. Don’t write a movie about a divorced couple and their daughter without having real moments between them or even with themselves. Go write a skit for a club instead 🥱 such boring dialogue and one dimensional characters.
