out of the 3 sequels to the first trying to continue the story this is by my opinion the second worst. its good for what it is, a slasher it has very cinematic and very interesting kills. the plot doesnt connect to the first movie at all. its a awful sequel and it should be disregarded from the franchise. as a stand alone movie the story is awful but if your just looking to watch a creepy movie with a guy that kills people with a chainsaw its good. if looking from a texas chainsaw massacre perspective it fails to live up to the legacy of the first movie and changes the character of leatherface beyond recognition.
