What people have complained about this movie still remains true - The furious five get boxed away, the Chameleon didn't reach her full potential, Po doesn't develop much and the plot could have been executed with better pacing. That being said though, it is a very enjoyable and fun film with a lot of good elements that made the trilogy special. It was great to see the villains return, although I wished they all had lines and had some sort of beef with Po. The action is still really good, Mr Ping and Li Hang are still some of the best dads in fiction, and the chemistry between Po and Zhen was better than I expected (Awkafina wasn't too annoying thankfully) The soundtrack was beautiful, the locations are shown beautifully and the voice actors bring a lot of charm. and personality to all the characters. Don't let Mike Mitchell be a director though, we need more films like Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2. Overall, an 8/10 for an animated movie and general, but actually a 6.5/10 by Kung Fu Panda standards
