Dafoe is absolutely brilliant in this captivating story. I could watch this a dozen times, and that feeling is rare for me. The literary and artistic elements add so much to it -- fantastic. Dafoe's private scenes where he talks aloud to no one (kitchen, comedy, etc.) are perfect. Love, love, love it.
