Honestly really disappointed with Gloom Division. Feels less like a creative explosion like Razzmatazz and more like a Harry Styles / Spotify playlist inspired sellout. The instrumentals are great but nothing hits, just the same song after the next with too much breathing room. You can’t lose yourself in what Dallon has to offer, with the generic lyrics and diluted themes that just get more watered down with every other song. Like going to a friends house you have a crush on and hearing they’re chaotic and messy, pushing open their bedroom door to find everything’s too neat to what they advertised. And all you wanna do is politely bail and not look back.
