Engrossing and immersive from beginning to end! Best movie ever for riveting the viewer into the scene and the action. Every scene/set from the peaceful pastoral to the trenches, tunnels, revetments, battlegrounds, and shelled out villages was beautifully and horrifically accurate. The cast performance was outstanding in that it did not appear to be a performance - neither underplayed nor overplayed, just authentic. As for the editing: Best Ever! There are only a few obvious breaks and there is no loss of continuity whatsoever.
