Okay as someone who was actually a huge fan of Beetlejuice whenever I was a kid, I have to say I was sorely disappointed by this movie. I mean it wasn't completely horrible, but it's like the writers had ADHD and didn't know which plot to stick to. They introduced beetlejuice's wife like she was going to be some huge antagonist, and then she only shows up for a couple of scenes. Was it the worst movie out there today? Absolutely not. But as someone who is a gigantic fan of the original Beetlejuice this severely disappointed me on many levels
