A beautiful piece of art. Thanks to the director and producer. Peter Sidenius pays the price of stepping out of his environment. He does that because he is ambitious. He wants to achieve something in his life. He wants to create his heaven here on earth. When he leaves his father house for the last time, his father warns him as to what he was about to do. for his father, this was crossing the line. As it mentioned in the movie one can crawl out of his own cave however, light burns his eyes. It sometimes very tough and impossible to clean the slate. In my opinion from beginning to the end, he always carried a faith in God. He was a true believer. Having said this, however, he was aware of himself as well and this always distracted him. I never easily say that his father abused him although the movie imply it. I think his predicament lies here because his father last words to him have always kept disturbed him as being a man of faith
