This book has 12 chapters , each one of which is a different story. Each one more intense and thrilling than the previous one. I loved this style of the author, it makes this book a complete package for someone who enjoys criminal thrillers. It is not a novel but basically a compilation of different crime investigations that took place in the 19th century. It has intense moments that will floor you. It is spine chilling but also fascinating, the narration is so good it’s like actually being at the crime scene doing it yourself. The writing is easy to comprehend which adds to the many merits of this book. Besides the thrills this book also educates you about criminal laws in India. The author himself is a policeman which makes it even more interesting. To anyone reading this book I would definitely recommend you give this a read. I rate it 5 stars for sure.
