Too much confusion. Certain moments had promise, but this film dragged on forever with no clear idea about what the plot was. The script was mostly unrealistic and even though the character Liberty was interesting, she lacked a great deal in personality. Too many cliches in the film. John Smith was WEIRD. And I couldn't tell if I was watching an adult film or just a sci-fi horror film. While I could figure out that he was NOT a regular human, I just don't get the significance of his grand plan. Without all the gross creature stuff, this is definitely masking domestic violence. And all around uncomfy to sit through.
