I read this book years ago and found it exceptionally informative and educational. It completely forced me to rethink my own myopic concept of “de-extinction” by understanding the consequences of such efforts. Beth Shapiro makes it a fun read, but also dedicates several pages for those capable of grasping the complex chemistry involved (not me!). Enjoyable reading for any generation!
