I was expecting a bright fun and maybe a romantic comedy movie, because all the marketing was toward that, I even went to the premiere of how excited I was about a fun movie FINALLY in decades, a movie that would feel exactly like a 2000s teen movie, but then I watched it.. well the movie had potential, sometimes it tried to be imparcial and neutral but the main message is very clear and kinda of EXCESSIVE, there are a lot of awkward scenes and it lacks of a deep script, it's so shallow and lazy, I felt very disappointed leaving the theater, Ryan and Margot are undeniable great professionals, but Ryan stole the show for me. Spoiler: saying that the Kens are evil for fighting the Matriarchy oppression of barbies is the same as saying feminism is wrong for fighting patriarchy, but I don't think the movie writers and director thought about that right..

Stop race swapping characters and be more creative.
