Guess I’m in the minority, but I hated this film. Why does the bad guy always end up on top? Is money that intoxicating? The lead was repugnant and disgusting and the last half of the film was depressing and gross. I was hoping for something redeeming at the end, but nowadays, that rarely happens in films. Really left a bad taste in my mouth. I’m sorry I was hyped into watching it.

The only sitcom that ever centered on an assisted living facility. It broke ground last year by focusing on the comic aspects of getting a kidney transplant. Once that story line was complete, it judiciously moved on. Chuck Lorre as producer has another winner, and Annaleigh Ashford as star is one of the best things on TV these days. Having the legendary Linda Lavin in the cast just makes it even better. The cast is so good, comparisons to other great sitcoms like Seinfeld and Raymond are not a big stretch. I love this show!
