This movie should have been about one battle and that of Midway, but it starts with the bombing of Perl Harbor, the Battle of the Corral Sea Dolittle's raid and last Midway, It does get a lot right but a lot wrong. It is pure Hollywood with WWII history that looks more like a Video Game. It doesn't get into the real people quite right that fought there, or does it explain anything so you really understand what really went on during the Battle unless you are a history buff like myself. The movie was entertaining but as for understanding the actual Battle of Midway, it doesn't deliver. There were a lot of things that went right and wrong for both sides during the battle and this film didn't cover it and if it spent the time to do so it could have been a great movie. The original Midway movie with Charlton Heston was a better movie even with its dumb subplots.
