3.5 stars ig? it was interesting. i'm not usually one for psychological thriller, idk i tend not to enjoy stories that have very unhappy endings and are up to interpretation. but this one kept me intrigued so that's cool yay also i feel the need to come to this movie's defense against the "there's no motivation, nothing is explained, the whole cycle is pointless!!" people. is that...not the point? like i felt as though the metaphor of the monotony of suburban nuclear-family life was pretty obvious. and ofc it's more deep than that but like???? how do you not at least understand the very surface level point of the movie???
