The movie was released in 2006…that time it was way ahead its time to show the complexities modern couple go through…the movie is realistic….and there is beautiful portrayal of raw emotions

But it’s the situations which justify the relationship of Dev and Maya though morally incorrect.

Highlighting challenges in marriage…parenting…societal outlook for working women…male insecurity for not being the main provider for his family….life after death of spouse… deep friendships in last phase of life and of course complexity with extra marital affair
