My understanding about Islam; an ethics, a lifestyle, characterized by a continuous self improvement regardless of ideological, racial or gender discrimination is fortified. Universal brotherhood nurtured by virtue and respect for difference as inherent beauty galvanize it's appeal. Not any ideology, but actions powered by ego (not pride but self esteem)sustaining , appreciative self or soul connecting humanity through affects, holds promise for a peaceful future for humanity.
