(No spoilers) I’ll start with what I personally found flawed, some people are complaining about the character development and acting. The real issue for me was what seemed to be lazy writing, I feel as you push through the seasons the character development exists while angsty, weird, and confusing at times the actors begin to improve. However, the storyline does a terrible job at finding conclusions and making permanent decisions. I had an issue with how vulnerable the protagonists are seemingly never making the correct choices in certain situations as well as making decisions that I feel are out of character leading to more drama that could’ve been avoided. The antagonists make horrendous decisions all together, it’s like their whole goal is to buy a new car they have the amount of money they need for a brand new car but they steal the car instead because they personally feel that’s a better idea based on random spontaneous impulse.
Now for the good stuff, it’s a really fun concept with lots of imaginative ideas and had me thinking of which keys I would use the most or wish that I had. If you watch closely you’ll learn some things that will help you feel better about those “all hope is lost” moments. As I previously stated, I thought the acting drastically improved throughout the show and I wasn’t quietly judging the flaws in my head although even with the poor acting in the beginning it did not become unwatchable at any point. The character development is a struggle to break away from trauma and I think some people are struggling to understand that.
Overall I think this is a decent show worth checking out if you’re out of stuff to watch and need something interesting and entertaining to check out. This is my first review and obviously it is okay to disagree with me this is just my opinion and it’s worth watching at the very least to formulate your own opinion.
