I watched the series in one go. I really liked how the first episode began and the way the story was narrated. I liked sister Agatha and her quirky attitude too. The first episode is intriguing and promising. However, it lacked the horror factor. None of the scenes were particularly scary and I felt some scenes were vague (the experiment with the baby?). Also, when sister Agatha asks if Jonathan had sexual intercourse with Count Dracula I expected a lustful Dracula, but our Dracula was a perfect gentleman, although the novel and previous depictions suggest otherwise.
The second episode was just alright. Again, nothing scary here. However, Dracula's journey to England was, for me, something left to my imagination. So I liked this episode fine.
The third episode is just "abysmal" (not Joey's abysmal).
The three stars is for the first two episodes and a very charming Count Dracula played by Claes Bang.
