Absolutely beautiful film and one I’m proud to call my favourite. Went into this movie knowing it was about cannibals and that Timothee Chalamet was in it. I’d never seen so much as a trailer for it. This movie is both disturbing and thrilling but serves to hide a deeper meaning about generational trauma and what it means to be different from everyone else. After reading more about the film it’s evident that every aspect was thoroughly thought out and deliberate hiding gems throughout the film for attentive audiences to pick out. During my first watch through, the ending didn’t feel right but after watching it a second time through and researching more of the backstory, the ending is perfect and sums up the story and characters beautifully. I’ve seen this movie 3 times through and have been begging all of my friends to watch this. Highly recommend!!
