The movie is just dissapointing. Everything the original did right, this one fumbled. The uncanny smiling, which should be one of the movie's selling point, is a secondary scare to the overabundance of screamers. You follow the protagonist's perspective to the extreme, to the point that it's dizzying, you end up not knowing what was real and what wasn't, which should be okay, but the original did this concept a lot better. The ending is the worst part, it's like they wanted to make this one final scene and they had to build a movie with it. They had a clear path to make the ending original and satisfying for the people, like me, that enjoyed the first one but got dissapointed by the ending. I feel, quite honestly, a bit robbed. If you go see this expecting mastery, lower your standards, if you want decently well made gore and screamers left and right though, this movie is definetly for you.
