Probably the worst show I have ever seen in my entire life. Given the interesting subject matter, you might think “how can they go wrong?” Well they manage in every way known to man. Nicole Kidman’s fake shamanism was a joke, but these days her whole motivation is just to look good on screen which is the very antithesis of what a real Shaman would bring to the table; dissolving the ego through all interactions by sheer example. Even Melissa McCarthy managed to not bring much desperately needed comic relief to the table. I can only blame the director for emoting some form of toxicity and artificiality that seeped into the actors, or at the very least, did not demand of them a truthfulness that would reverberate on screen. This show was insulting and excruciating to watch.
