📝Anjutha Ranganathan's An Unquenchable Excess of Love is for someone who loved so passionately and faced immense tragedy and eventually evolved, became knowledgeable and shone out of it. And this is beautifully depicted in the book in three different parts The Falling, The Breaking and The Healing.
📝There are poems that are not only poems, but some finely written words of the poet that are very amazing. The series of poems looks at love from any perspective, presenting a truthful and romantic portrait of what it takes to fall in love. The collection of poems is in a proper series that tells how people crash, injure and recover themselves.
📝Through her soulful writing, the Poetess conveys the truth of hope and commitment, and you can find yourself lost in every one of these poems, as the lines can be sensed, which means that she did her job well.
📝The title is fitting to the material, as it implies that it's about how love isn't about being together, even though it isn't, it's an intrinsic feeling that you keep forever.
📝The language was lucid with a rich vocabulary which was easily understandable. The book cover was quite simple but attractive.
📝Overall, it was a great read and will keep it readers hooked until they finish it. Set of poetry and images at the same time tend to enrich the reading experience. I'm sure I'm going to recommend this book to both poetry enthusiasts and people who can understand the feelings that the author is trying to express.
📝One of my favourite Poem from the collection is “I RISE” and the best line from it is:
Oh, my dear admirer,
Thank you for being shamelessly rude
And enviously open in your prejudiced opinion and don’t you stop it.
Because I shine, I grow, I become audacious and wiser day by day in the chaos
That is, (your mockery) just the way you think it is.
Happy Reading😊
