The animations and design of the restaurant was GREAT, the story SUUUCKED
The while movie just explains the lore to you like a Wikipedia article instead of SHOWING you. It's like this movie forgot that it's about kids who have gotten horribly murdered and made it a PG-13 Scooby-Doo mystery. I love horror films, I've seen amateur YouTube videos that depicted the horror of the lore better than this movie did. It's just a big nothing burger made for fans instead of utilizing the medium to introduce people to the franchise with a genuinely good story...I'm disappointed.
