Ragnarok was excellent, as with the guardians the occasional use of humour helped to make the characters more believable and fallible amidst all the threat so necessary in a superhero story. Directors who tried to blatantly copy the best of others, heavy metal with slow motion fight scenes, emotional turmoil of love interests, even squeezing a cancer story in (guardians) yet failing dismally. The movie also belittled other gods and superheroes, meeting Zeus and other ‘deities’ was like a Star Wars ewoks poor puppetry. No original thought. A complete side track to the original concepts. We need a new writer and director for the next one!
