Extraordinary that this ever got made. True vanity project for Bradley Cooper who is punching way above his weight. The film has reduced LB to a caricature of himself. According to this film the most interesting thing about him is, what is in fact, the least interesting thing about him: his sexuality and promiscuity. And oh boy, if you do think that's interesting or unusual, you have led an incredibly sheltered life! Yawn. Such a lost opportunity.

Why reimagine when the true story of the Brontë family would be far more compelling and moving. I think the sisters would have been appalled by this pandering fictitious melodrama. And so many historical inaccuracies. Why? Emma Mackey may have talent but her look was far too contemporary and distracting; especially next to a far more plausible looking cast.
