I love the book and I love the series. I read the novel two years I go because I read Tong Hua's book. One is the Moon Lovers: Scarlet ryeo. I love this but lost you forever is such a masterpiece to me. I wrote 22 passage and quotes after reading. It's a never bending perception one that challenges audience between tangible uncoventional yet unconditional relationship vs a relationship that confirms with norm. When I read the novel, I really fell in love with Xiang Liu. More than his powerful looks and cold aura is a balanced traits of a decisive yet someone who genuinely cares for others. He is such a wholesome, resilient and thriving soul. And the kindest! As I was watching the series I really like how Jian Ci brings his raw emotions and vulnerability in place. What I like about XL is his authentic self and honesty in telling the trurh. He is such a unique character who has the purest heart in the story. He thrives, both hardened yet soft at the same time. He is such a deep character with different layers. He humbles me as a human and for the first time a character gives me so much hope. Such a relatable and awesome character! Thank you, Tong Hua!
