First off I would avoid what the “critics” are saying about this film and go watch it to form your own opinion about the movie. It was very enjoyable with a nice mix of comedy and drama, and the visuals were captivating as the world they depicted in this film was very immersive. I was surprised by how much I would like some characters in this movie, and the acting is top tier, including that of Jonathan Majors as Kang. Paul Rudd was charming and funny as always, and each protagonist had their moment to shine. The narrative was mainly solid but I am unsure if I enjoy how they landed the film in the last 5-10 min. There were one or two decisions made at the climax that I personally would have felt would have made the movie that much better if they had gone in a different direction, and teased that direction in the film to boot without committing to it in the end. Small *spoilers* there are two post credit scenes as well that do move the overall plot of the MCU forward, even though I admit at least one of the scenes are a bit weird. But overall it was a very fun movie with a lot of rewatchability, especially if you’re an Ant-Man fan, and the best out of the 3 Ant-Man films. Not quite in my Top 10 MCU films, but there was very little to complain about. I’d recommend it to anyone.
