PLEASE PLEASE believe me when I say this movie is trash. I came into it hoping they'd be able to do something better than the first "reboot"... And am more unenthusiastic about this one than the last. It's an hour and a half of whiny teens with the OG cast interspersed to remind you it's a Ghostbusters movie... Then there's 10 minutes of CGI "end of the world" followed by a 3 minute fight with a completely predictable "twist"... I won't even get into the glaring continuity idiocy regarding a specific brass moment. I'm only giving this 2* so it doesn't look like some trolling 1* which is what it actually deserves. I laughed twice... Maybe 3 times. So the people saying it's a comedy are either paid for a good review, or believe Ishtar got a bad rap. Do NOT waste 2 hours of your life on this

The people giving this 3 or less are the same ones who whine about every violent movie, and couldn't enjoy dark humour if their lives depended on it. The movie is well cast, well performed and an enjoyable couple of hours that doesn't take itself seriously despite the subject matter.

Not having read the book I can't be absolute in this belief, but it feels like they really rushed the final chapter, which is a shame as it's where the actual story of who Snow became, happens. Perhaps this should have been 2 movies, with the story at 12 being fleshed out to allow his future (the original "trilogy") to make more sense. That said, it's entertaining and the little Easter eggs are fun.

I almost changed the channel when I came across this movie I'd never heard of... So glad I didn't. Not going to give any part of it away, but this movie is going to kick you in the guts if you've got daughters or sisters. And for those of us with neither, it's a movie we should all watch, because this story isn't some made up "what if" scenario

I really thought I'd hate this. Now I'm glad there was nothing else on. Anybody leaving negative reviews is likely that person your dog refuses to go near and growls at every time they're close by.
