I am reading the books concurrently with watching the series. I understand things need to be cut and altered for tv viewing. However, for the love of ---, the acting by Teresa Palmer is atrocious. Among other poor choices, I just lost all hope when at one point she just plops down on a seat while pregnant (spoiler alert), with her fake belly bouncing with the impact. No care given to the unborn children or even semblance of being pseudo-pregnant. Whoever directed this should also be put to shame for this display. It is a compelling tale otherwise, and I have few complaints for what it is. A cheap and fast pay-for tv series stemming from a great concept.
