**CONTAINS SPOILERS** Personally i belive the movie had some potential i really did look quite good at the start i liked the concept and i enjoyed how they brang in alot of new characters. In this review im going to talk about what i personally think could make this movie better!! Outfits and character styles: Descendants rise of red has some nice outfits and i the characters but i personally think they messed up quite a few times. I wish they made the characters look more like the originals and please dont get mad but please Disney stop making characters have a race change just because you feel like it!! I think the outfits couldve been better i liked how in the old movies especially descendants 2 they had these kind of leathery nicer looking outfits but why of course they would change their preferences over time we all do, and i wish the characters had their original hair colours aswell i just feel like that would suit them more but it doesnt bother me that much. I also just want to mention the villians outfits were not it i only like the queen of hearts outfit, all the other villians at merlin academy just looked awful!!! Disney what happened? The villians all looked like emo teenagers who got bad haircuts and awful fashion advice...(they reminded me of Jojo Siwas Karma outfit) Musical numbers: I enjoy the descendants musicals alot same with the zombies ones but i feel like ever since Descendants 3 came out the songs have gotten worse and worse. . . Seeing this happen to one of my favourite franchises makes me really sad and i wonder what happened to the songs i adored when i first watched this movie. So many of the songs in this movie felt pointless like there was one just about gardening and one really short one about cinderella and her husband being in love? I feel like they couldve had musical numbers at scenes that deserved one!! Personalities:The characters personalities seemed like quite a flop. So let me explain, Red is a rebelious young teenager who hates her mother for being a villian but i think its too hard to tell if shes a good person or not because she has the heart to not exicute one of the soldiers yet she then takes an evil twist at the orientation? Just doesnt make sense. We then have Chloe which might i jsut add her name doesnt make much sense compared to the others how they all ahve simlar names to their parents but besides the point shes your picture perfect teenage girl raised in a privalleged family and she is very kind to kind to be a good character. Disney we want a relateable character... Lore:The lore makes no sense didnt most of the parents go to Aurodon High and now all of the sudden Merlin Academy exists?? What happened to Prince Charming? You know Cinderellas son... Were not gonna talk about that . ok. Disney please make more sense and keep up with your own stuff you created. Thats my opinion on the new descendants movie it had potential but it turned out to be a massive flop and what even was the message of the story?
