Every scene with Angelina Jolie was riveting. Unfortunately, the remaining scenes left me utterly frustrated. It seems to make this sequel, they decided to maybe Aurora and everyone else in the Moors incredibly stupid. There is one scene where Aurora attempts to free some fairies from a church and there are WINDOWS but what does she do? Not break the window. Instead, she attempts to move a giant ass door stop. Also, she is completely blind to court mechanics. This would have been acceptable had Aurora not been queen for a million years of both a human and fairy kingdom prior to the start of this movie. But they legit dumbed everyone down to name these storylines plausible.

I was interested because I thought this movie would be a fun popcorn movie. Instead, the most interesting thing about it was the plot synopsis. So much wannabe tarantino elements without any of the humor or irony. I was flat out bored.

This was complex storytelling at its best. Absolutely loved that it did not shy away from people who have gray morals or excuse them.
