Preface: I have not read any books for The Hunger Games. This is only about the movie as a whole. This movie was very well done, from the cinematography, the acting, and the soundtrack. Phenomenal. The portrayal of a person going from the bottom of their respective lives to becoming the man we've seen in the past was done very well. The struggles, life altering choices, loss, betrayal. All done and acted amazingly. However, the movie felt bloated in the middle and, for me, didn't stay interesting for the final stretch. The ending felt rushed and just sort of happened.
