Civil War is a movie about Civil War and Journalism if the person making the movie did not know what a Civil War or Journalism was. This movie was actually kinda insulting as there has been no shortage of war in the past 20 years or currently going on that the director could have used as an example of what war is like. I can only imagine what someone in Ukraine or Gaza would say about the war scenes in this movie. Finally this movie did not have the courage to answer the question "why". This movie makes it a point to not answer that question amongst anyone who is actually fighting the war. I don't think you can make Journalism the central focus of the movie and not answer the why.
