This movie is more heartfelt than funny- I definitely cried more than I laughed. Thematic spoiler: It's basically about domestic/intimate partner abuse and the phases that a survivor will go through. It cuts deep. On one hand it's good that the depth catches you off guard but on the other hand if someone has trauma with that kind of thing and was expecting a night of 100% light laughs they may appreciate the heads up. Jokes wise I was a little disappointed given the talent involved. They kind of rang the same bells too many times.
Edit: Ppl giving one star because they brought their kids? How did they get in the theatre with an R rating? You definitely need intelligence and emotional maturity to appreciate this movie beyond the crass jokes.
