An embarrassment and a failure of an adaptation to one of the most well known IPs of all time. The rare, momentary glimpses of what could have been do not excuse the glaring faults in writing, direction, worldbuilding, sound engineering, lighting and nearly every department associated with the production that resulted in the insult we were fed after nearly a decade of anticipation. Next time, give this to a crew of people that care and respect the material or don’t bother at all. If you’re a fan of sci-fi: this is bad sci-fi, doesn’t respect the intelligence of the viewer and is so unbelievably tone deaf it’s downright absurd. If you’re a fan of halo: this will actively hurt your opinion of the IP. This is bottom of the barrel adaptation, possibly the worst video game adaptations ever produced. Watch something else. You’ll be better for it.
