Horrible, if you told me AI wrote this I wouldn’t be surprised. The characters never once act like real people. An alien who just touched down on our surface could probably write more believable characters than shown here. There are so many utterly nonsensical scenes that are shown and never addressed again. It feels like like in some sort of “technology bad” message here but it’s horribly conveyed. No one is very likable really, nothing is explained. Crazy how this was ever approved. If your in the mood for a comedy disguised as a drama this is your movie, it was actually fun to watch in a fun bad way, but that is clearly not what they were going for.

Did you expect this to be a movie about modern gender roles and sexuality? Talk about female empowerment or anything like the original female sexual empowerment movement? That sucks because all this movie does is follow around a bunch of meatballs on spring break, toss some mild critiques of modern beauty standards around then call it what modern sexual culture is. It tells the same message that you’ve heard 300 times over when there’s any message at all. If you want good content about modern sexual culture Netflix has plenty of better options.
