Went at the weekend to see 'Gladiator II' - very well made, good story line with a plausible twist half way through that made it a film I can recommend.

I was genuinely impressed with how this was done. I thought it's probably going to be saturated with alien encounters and unlikely to capture the suspense of the original. But I was wrong. A good storyline and well presented. I can recommend it.

You get what you hope for, a fantastic display of visual effects, keeps your attention throughout and brilliantly made. Enjoyable with or without the popcorn.

In my view a sort of ok film. I didn't think it was a particularly well put together film, painfully slow first half, second half much better, the ending however was non descript. A shame really, I was looking forward to seeing this but not impressed. I shalln't watch again when it hits tv. I can't recommend it unfortunately.
