Every episode is stunning. I find myself rewatching each one at least three times. I go back to see something that a later one refers to. I am mesmerized by this show. I do not want to wait..

This is the most fun an old lady like me can have. I dont know how I started watching it. But i was immediately hooked.

My father took me to se this movie when I was 12 years old. I saw it again on TV a few more times. It made a lasting impression on me. It taught me alot. I fear that I will say too much and a viewer might not want to see it. It is important during these times to have the themes in this film thrown in our faces. At one time the Catholic Church would rather have a woman die instead of her baby. This was before modern medicine might have saved them both. But I learned that religious dictates could be cruel and unyielding.

This was my first Asian drama. It opened a whole new world of tv shows for me. I was spoiled rotten for all that came after it. But dont worry there are plenty of great Kdramas to see. They keep getting better and better. Kim Sun Na and Hyun Bin are still big stars. I see everything they do.

I watched it from the first episode and thought it would be a hit. But ABC gave up on it way before it had a chance to catch on.

First leads are boring. But the second leads and support characters are excellent. Their story lines are more interesting and made me excited to see the next episode

Someone might think its not a film for everyone. But I am exactly the person you would not recommend it to. And it is exactly the movie that everyone should see. The story, cinamatography, performances, costumes, makeup, and music were outstanding. The film should cross the barriors to all countries. Don't let that inch of words at the bottom keep you from this opportunity. I had see Zhou Dongyu in other films. She is a tiny talented chameleon. Her 19 year old co star Jackson Lee should have a very long career ahead of him. The camera loves him and the director is a genius.

I am very familiar with Korean film. This story is not common. This was an extraordinary story that could be appreciated and entertaining to anyone from anywhere. The whole production was first class. They deserve any awards they are nominated for. I saw the film when it first came out. And again and again. When i watch a film with subtitles I lose a lot of visual clues and keys. But this film demanded my full attention. It demanded that I watch it again. I already knew what they were saying. I could almost hear the words while I watched it the second and third time.

I will never be able to see another Chinese drama without comparing it to this series. It had me enthralled from the first to last episode. Everything else is pale in comparison. Wang Ta Lu (Darren Wang) is perfect for his part. The director was able get a great performance from him. I had waited to see this series for Xiao Zhan but he doesn't enter the story for a few episodes. He was very good but Wang Ta Lu owned this show.
