First episode was good, but..
I was really disappointed with Landman. The show had potential with its intriguing premise, but its portrayal of certain characters crossed the line. The over-sexualization of the teenage girl and the ex-wife felt unnecessary and exploitative, adding nothing meaningful to the story. It seemed like the writers prioritized shock value over thoughtful character development. It’s frustrating to see such outdated and harmful tropes in modern television. Did they hire a cheap porn director after episode1?!. I expected a deeper, more compelling narrative, but instead, it relied on cheap, sensationalist tactics. Very disappointing.
