At first glance, this movie seems like another silly tale you'd sleep through with your younger siblings. So, I avoided watching it for as long as I could and I must say.. that was the BIGGEST mistake of my life. This movie is AMAZING! It deals with difficult topics like racism, stereotyping/microaggressions and more in the most graceful way and gives the audience a chance to see themselves in every character. I absolutely LIVED for the lessons in this movie, three cheers for the HILARIOUS animal depictions! 10/10 for the apology scene between Gideon and Judy! A round of applause for Judy's acknowledgment of how ignorant her speech was! It is completely rare that we see good redemption arcs that deal with bullying and discrimination like this in children's movies. If you are on the fence about this movie, let this comment be your shove. Zootopia is a call to action by the witty and incredibly determined, Ms. Judy Hopps
