Have now watched the first 2 seasons. The first season was hard to get into, but was good after the third episode. Likeable characters, notable cast, decent writing. Second season...just meh. Basically, same plot line as first season. Additionally, the viewer is expected to believe that after Mabel waited 10 years for Oscar to get out of prison, she quickly throws him over to experiment with a same sex relationship. While the first season ties the main players together through bonds formed during youth, season 2 offers a faaaar fetched story of a three way affair between an artist, one of New York's Grande Dames (played brilliantly by Shirley McClain) and a broke actor/art model/gigolo/father of young Charles. Along with other convoluted, ridiculous story lines and the annoying, inexplicable presence of Amy Schumer. Should have ended after first season.
