Give this series a chance especially if you are a fan of good writing ,fine acting. The series offers a great deal of events before the Peter Jackson's trilogy based on third age. The series shows a timeline of second age i.e before Rings were forged,the rise of evil as well as the events in different realms of middle earth. Beautifully shot,well directed and acted! The capture of Khazad Dum, Numenor,Lindon was breath taking as well the battle with orcs and its just been 3 episodes so far!
