New player here this looks real good on PS5 for a 2014 game, The PVE is engaging I’d give the fun factor 5 stars. It kept me engaged for well over a month of daily fun. The PVP is absolutely zero fun. I gave it the good ole college try. Picked up a bounty to get 5 kills. It took 12 full rounds of something called momentum control. To finally get five kills. It seemed I’d get one shotted over and over and over and over. I’d die in literally a half second 4 or 5 times in a 5 second period of time. It was so absurd it was comical. The team the game put me on never won in those 12 rounds luckily it seems the game gets called when the other team hits 200 kills to our teams 17 kills. I’m not sure what flawless is but the other teams always had those tags maybe some elite PVP guild. Maybe I was geared wrong as I would die in a half second as soon as the enemy appears, If you throw a Grenade directly on the enemy they take damage but survive and kill you. Also apparently it takes about 3 seconds of sustained fire on them with a auto-rifle to luck into a kill on experienced guys. They have shields that I guess new players don’t get. I asked one of the flawless guys about why you instantly die and was told because your a new light. At the end of the matches they rate your performance. Many guys are pegged at 10.00 to one kill to death ratios. The highest I got was 0.06 oddly I used to be pretty good at PVP in the SOCOM days this is so unbelievably unbalanced that I’m fairly sure it’s some hacked bots or something that just kill everything with some algorithmic PK script. I take it New light means your job is to be farmed 100 times in a row. Anyhow save your self the frustration and don’t do the pvp unless you want to experience being a kill farm with no chance to react. The PVE is very fun. The PVP is horrible and I’ll never play that mode again. I recommend new players just delete those quests all together and hard pass the whole part of the game. I’d say this had become my favorite game as king as I ignore the PVP. Except for the gambit mode which is awesome and fun.
