What a bad movie. The story was all over the place, scenes were patched together i.e., Mescal falls into the ocean during the first war scene only to teleport ashore, then again waddles out to fetch his women, only to magically teleport to her body - while the bloody siege of Numidia is occurring - don’t get me started on the arrows, shows 5 guys shooting arrows then 100 arrows shooting across the scene. Even the entirety of a scene was just randomly thrown together with no real flow. Multiple times I wanted to walk out of this 2.5hr film, but I thought I’d stick with it - it’ll get better. Nope it didn’t. Waste of a $25 ticket if you ask me. Only saving grace was the acting from Mescal and Denzel. But the dialogue they transcribed was just absolute crap. Can’t believe people are actually giving 5/5 for this film. It’s dog shite.
