I found this to be a very captivating movie. I don’t speak German, but I found my eyes riveted on the English subtitles during the entirety of the film. The picture presents—in a very poignant way—the tortured mind-set of the German people, following their acknowledgment of the grotesque crimes committed by them during World War II and the Holocaust.
