It took me a very long time to get into the X-Men movies when they first came out and after I did I was always craving more. So I was really excited when I heard about this show. I only started watching The Gifted after season 1 had finished airing and was not disappointed. Although season 2, while pretty awesome (especially episode 10), wasn't as good as it's predecessor. I found, after watching for a second time, season two was quite repetitive especially with Turner and his "oh I hate all mutants because my daughter was killed in an attack" attitude. I know that sounds insensitive but at first I felt pretty sorry for him but eventually when it became his only character trait it annoyed me. I understand he lost his kid but c'mom the mutants he was arresting lost ten times that and more and he really couldn't see the big picture. Another thing that bothered me about the second season was Andy. Now don't get me wrong I absolutely love him, but something about him in the season just irritated me. My favourite characters though had to be Rebecca and Clarice and I wish Rebecca got more than just being Andy's psycho love interest cause honestly I kinda thought they were setting him up to be into guys. But overall the whole show is freaking awesome and I really wish Fox had figured out a way to keep it going or even Hulu because that cliffhanger at the end with Clarice made me remember why I was so excited before season 2 aired.
